InZOI Director Confirms Community Wishlist Features
This week, the developers of InZOI are taking a well-deserved break to celebrate the New Year with a three-day holiday in South Korea. Before stepping away, Hyungjun "Kjun" Kim, the project lead, provided an insightful update on the much-anticipated features fans have been requesting for the game, detailing which ones will be implemented and to what extent.

In InZOI, players will have the exciting opportunity to use real facial capture technology to create templates for crafting zois. This feature, already highlighted in summer announcements for its convenience, is set to be further streamlined, as Kjun emphasized the goal of simplifying the zoi creation process even more. Additionally, players will be able to introduce their own pets into the game, although this feature won't be available during the early access phase. Fans will need to exercise a bit of patience, but it's worth noting that Kjun himself is a passionate animal lover, which adds a personal touch to this anticipated addition.
The game environment will include tall buildings, with a cap set at 30 floors. While the game engine theoretically supports higher constructions, this limitation is in place to address potential performance issues, ensuring a smoother gaming experience. In terms of gameplay, InZOI will feature gas stations and fights. Kjun acknowledged that the initial slap mechanic felt too shallow for players, and in response to their feedback, the game will now include more robust and engaging combat scenarios, complete with winners and losers, enhancing the overall gameplay dynamics.
Recognizing that many newcomers to the genre may try the game, the developers have thoughtfully included a tutorial to help ease players into the InZOI experience. This consideration is certainly commendable and reflects the team's commitment to accessibility and player satisfaction.
As of now, Krafton is steadfast in its plan to launch InZOI in early access at the end of March, with no further delays currently anticipated. This update from Kjun not only showcases the developers' responsiveness to community feedback but also builds anticipation for what's to come in this innovative game.
