Devil\'s Purge is going free-to-play and expanding its soundtrack
Devil's Purge, the adrenaline-fueled heavy metal AR shooter, is receiving a massive update! Get ready for even more pulse-pounding music tracks, and the best part? It's going free-to-play!
Experience the initial levels—over 60 in total—and unleash hellfire today.
During my trip to Portugal last year, I had the chance to playtest Devil's Purge, an upcoming AR shooter from Ontop. The game throws you into a battle against demons and the devil himself, all set to an intense heavy metal soundtrack.
If you've been hesitant to try Devil's Purge, now's the perfect time. The soundtrack is expanding, and the game is now free-to-play (with a catch!).
Inspired by Doom, Devil's Purge uses a shareware model. You can play several initial levels for free, with the option to purchase the full game.
Devil's Purge isn't your typical stand-and-shoot game. You'll need to actively move to dodge enemies and expose their weaknesses. Think less Pokémon Go, more intense demon-slaying action.
Blast 'em!
This latest update also boasts a killer soundtrack expansion featuring tracks from independent metal artists like Avesso, Visceral, Zero Massive, Tales for the Unspoken, and many more. With over 60 levels and a customizable combat system that lets you utilize resources from previous playthroughs, there's never been a better time to take on the forces of Hell!
The free-to-play update is live now! Find Devil's Purge on the iOS App Store.
