DOOM: Dark Ages' Demon Aggressiveness Customizable
id Software's goal for DOOM: The Dark Ages is broad accessibility. Unlike previous id Software titles, this installment boasts significantly enhanced customization options. Executive producer Marty Stratton emphasized the studio's commitment to making the game enjoyable for a wide player base.
Players can adjust enemy difficulty and damage, projectile speed, player damage resistance, and even broader gameplay elements like tempo, aggression levels, and parry timing.
Stratton confirmed that DOOM: The Dark Ages and DOOM: Eternal's narratives are independently understandable, eliminating the need to play one to comprehend the other.
