How To Find and Give Weapons to the Earth Sprite in Fortnite

Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 1 introduces Sprites, helpful apparitions offering players new items or abilities. The elusive Earth Sprite, the most beneficial but hardest to find, presents a unique challenge. This guide explains how to locate and interact with it.

Fortnite Earth Sprite Locations

The Earth Sprite is exclusive to Chapter 6's main Battle Royale mode (including Zero Build and Ranked). It appears in only two locations per match, chosen from approximately two dozen possible spawn points. These are often marked by a solitary lantern, similar to the one shown in the image below. Finding one requires checking multiple potential locations.

A comprehensive map, like the one available online, pinpoints all 22 potential Earth Sprite locations. These include areas near:

• Magic Mosses

Giving Weapons to the Earth Sprite

The real challenge lies in finding the Sprite. Once located, simply use your interact button while facing it. This will transfer your currently equipped weapon to the Sprite, completing the Week 1 quest and rewarding you with 25,000 XP. Note that you lose the weapon you give, but receive a random Legendary rarity weapon in return, significantly boosting your in-game advantage.
