Vostatek's Epic Mount Discovery: Unveiling Pepik in KCD 2

Embark on a side quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 to locate Vostatek's missing horse, Pepik, and reap the rewards!

This quest, "Lackey," begins at Gamemaster Vostatek's residence west of Tachov. Speak with Zlata or Vitek (Zlata will direct you to him anyway) to initiate the quest. Vitek is located slightly southeast of the house.

Your journey takes you north, where you'll find Vostatek under attack by wolves. After rescuing him, help him to his campsite where Pepik was tethered.

Unfortunately, Pepik is gone. Follow the trail of clues leading from the campsite. Examine each clue along the path until you reach a poacher's camp.

Pepik is at the rear of the poacher's camp. Engage the poachers strategically; taking them out individually or in small groups is easier than a full-on assault. Alternatively, you can potentially snatch Pepik and escape before engaging the tougher opponents within the camp.

Return Pepik to Vostatek's campsite. You can then choose to ride with him back to his home (a fast travel option). Your reward? A substantial amount of Groschen and access to his home as a resting place.

With Pepik returned and your coffers heavier, you're free to pursue further quests, romances, or equipment upgrades in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
