The Best Boss Order for Bloodborne

Several approaches exist, as not all bosses are essential for game completion. However, defeating most bosses provides substantial rewards. Therefore, we strongly recommend tackling as many as possible. The following lists detail non-optional and complete boss orders, followed by a more detailed breakdown.

There are 17 standard bosses and 5 DLC bosses from The Old Hunters. Chalice Dungeon bosses are excluded. The DLC can theoretically be started after Vicar Amelia, but most players recommend a later approach, perhaps before or after Mergo’s Wet Nurse, impacting certain dialogue.
