Unlocking the Fire Seal in Fields of Mistria: A Guide

In the latest March 10 update for *Fields of Mistria*, players can now unlock the Fire Seal after clearing the preceding altars. To open the seal, you must offer four specific items: a Faceted Rock Gem, Rockroot, Emerald, and a Sealing Scroll. Here's how to acquire each item and successfully unlock the Fire Seal.

Where to Find Faceted Rock Gem in Fields of Mistria

The Faceted Rock Gem is a rare artifact you can find within the mines of *Fields of Mistria*. Ensure you're using the most recent game update, and delve into the mines until you reach Floors 50-59. We discovered the gem on Floor 56 after some thorough exploration. To locate it, use your pickaxe or shovel to dig in designated spots on the floor. Be prepared for some grinding, as these gems are not common.

Where to Find Rockroot in Fields of Mistria

Rockroot, a common forageable item, is found on Floors 50-59 of the mines. If you regularly explore the mines, you might already have collected some. Look for a dark, root-like plant as shown in the image. You only need one to complete the offering at the Priestess’ altar.

Where to Find Emerald in Fields of Mistria

Emeralds are the most accessible item for the Fire Seal offering. They can be found in Emerald geodes on Floors 50-59 of the mines. If you haven't kept any in storage, mining should quickly yield what you need. Additionally, you can obtain Emeralds by breaking large boulders scattered around Mistria or purchase them from Balor’s Wagon for just 200 tesserae. If you've unlocked the Stone Refinery in the March 2025 update, you can also craft them yourself.

How to Get the Sealing Scroll in Fields of Mistria

The Sealing Scroll, the final item needed to break the Fire Seal, is part of a quest initiated after meeting Juniper at the seal's discovery. You'll need to enlist Balor's help to acquire the scroll, which requires a specific payment:

• x10 Silver Ingots
• x10 Rubies
• x10 Sapphires
• x10 Emeralds

You can gather these materials from the mines if you don't already have them. Once collected, deposit them in the bin near Balor’s Wagon to obtain the Sealing Scroll.

Unlocking the Fire Seal

With the Sealing Scroll, Faceted Rock Gem, Emerald, and Rockroot in your inventory, return to Floor 60 of the mines to present your offering. This action will unlock the Fire Seal, revealing a new biome and further content available during Early Access.
