Transformers: Reactivate Gameplay Footage Leaks After Game’s Cancellation

by Samuel Feb 26,2025

Leaked gameplay footage of the canceled Transformers: Reactivate has re-emerged online. Originally announced in 2022 by Splash Damage in collaboration with Hasbro, the co-op game pitted Autobots and Decepticons against an alien threat, "the Legion." While little official footage was released, leaks, including a 2020 build, have surfaced since the game's cancellation.

This recently resurfaced footage showcases Bumblebee navigating a destroyed city, seamlessly transforming between robot and vehicle modes, and engaging in combat. The gameplay bears resemblance to Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, albeit with a different antagonist. Despite some unfinished textures, the footage demonstrates a polished game with environmental destruction. A brief, silent cutscene depicts Bumblebee emerging from a portal in a ravaged New York City, communicating with an ally named Devin.

Numerous other leaks from 2020 predate the official announcement and subsequent cancellation. Although Transformers: Reactivate will not be released, the leaked footage offers a glimpse into the game's potential.
