Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 Rated on Singaporean Website

by Evelyn Mar 22,2025

Fueling the fire of anticipation for a Tony Hawk's Pro Skater remake, Singapore's rating board has listed "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4" for a 2025 release. This rumored remake, encompassing the next two mainline entries in the iconic skateboarding series, is slated for a wide release across Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.

While official confirmation remains elusive, a countdown timer within Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 hints at an imminent announcement, ticking down to March 4, 2025. Adding further weight to the speculation, Tony Hawk himself revealed on Mythical Kitchen that he's been in discussions with Activision, hinting at a project fans will "truly appreciate."

The success of the 2020 Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 remake made a sequel a seemingly obvious next step. However, the 2021 integration of Vicarious Visions, the original remake developer, into Blizzard complicated matters, shifting the team's focus to Blizzard projects.

According to Tony Hawk, plans to tackle 3+4 immediately following 1+2 were in place until Vicarious Visions' absorption. Activision subsequently sought new developers, but struggled to find a studio they felt could match the original team's expertise. Hawk described Activision's search process, noting that they solicited pitches but ultimately found none satisfactory.

The mystery remains: who's developing this highly anticipated remake? The Singaporean rating board only lists Activision as both publisher and developer. March 4th promises to shed light on this question.
