Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will arrive in Call of Duty

Activision has announced a new crossover event for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Call of Duty: Warzone, bringing back the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! This isn't the first time these shelled heroes have graced an Activision shooter.

While details on the collaboration's content and launch date (other than "soon") remain scarce, the CODWarfareForum has leaked some unconfirmed information. Speculation points to operator skins for all four Turtles (though the absence of April O'Neil, Master Splinter, and Shredder is noted by some). New melee weapons are also rumored, including a skateboard, katana, nunchucks, and a staff. The Grind map, a skatepark, is expected to be the central location for crossover events.

However, fan reaction has been muted, not due to a lack of enthusiasm for the TMNT franchise, but rather the current state of Black Ops 6. The game is struggling with a significant number of bugs and cheaters, leading to a decline in its player base. This collaboration feels somewhat ill-timed, raising questions about its potential impact and longevity amidst the game's ongoing issues.
