System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition Renamed System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster, Also Coming to Nintendo Switch

Nightdive Studios' updated version of the 1999 sci-fi horror RPG, initially titled System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition, is now officially System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster. This remastered edition is expanding its reach to include the Nintendo Switch.

The game will soon launch on Windows PC (via Steam and GOG), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.

The official synopsis:

The year is 2114. Awakening from cryo-sleep aboard the Von Braun starship, you find yourself with amnesia, and disaster has struck. Hybrid mutants and lethal robots prowl the ship's corridors, their cries echoing through the cold metal. SHODAN, a malevolent AI determined to exterminate humanity, has seized control, and only you can stop her. Nightdive Studios has confirmed that a release date and new trailer will debut during the Future Game Show Spring Showcase livestream on March 20, 2025.
