Street Fighter 6 presented Mai Shiranui gameplay trailer

Three legendary female fighters instantly spring to mind: Nina Williams, Chun-Li, and Mai Shiranui. While Street Fighter x Tekken showcased Nina and Chun-Li's rivalry, a rematch isn't on the immediate horizon.

However, Mai Shiranui's arrival as a guest character in Street Fighter 6 is a different story. Her gameplay trailer cleverly pits her against Chun-Li, a fitting matchup.

Mai's signature moves are all present, her Super looks spectacular, and she's poised to become a fan favorite in Street Fighter 6. Unfortunately, players will need to exercise a bit more patience; Capcom has set the release date for February 5th, meaning a three-week wait.

Let's hope the Street Fighter 6 team keeps us entertained with additional content in the meantime.
