Strategy Game Price of Glory Adds 3D Visual Effects in Its Latest Update 1.4
The medieval battlefield in Price of Glory is set to become even more intense with the release of its latest update, version 1.4. This Alpha 1.4 update brings a host of upgrades, including a revamped tutorial and a shift to full 3D visuals. Dive into the details of this exciting update below.
If you're new to Price of Glory, here's a quick introduction: it's a 2D multiplayer turn-based strategy game set in a medieval fantasy world. Players strategize to set up defenses and engage in battles across diverse terrains like deserts, dense forests, and lava-covered warzones.
What’s New in Price of Glory Update 1.4?
The most striking feature of update 1.4 is the transition to 3D visuals. The game's maps are now fully rendered in 3D, enhancing the depth and immersion of the battlefield. Units have been given new idle animations and particle effects, making the game's world feel more alive.
Scouting has also been improved, allowing your units to cut through the fog of war more effectively, revealing enemy positions and hidden threats, making strategic planning even more crucial.
New Heroes with unique abilities have been introduced. For instance, Worp, a mech hero, can teleport across the battlefield, while Blix has the ability to steal an enemy unit and convert it to your side, adding new layers of strategy to your gameplay.
Resource management remains a core element of Price of Glory, with Animo being the essential resource for summoning units, moving, attacking, and using abilities. However, players receive a limited amount of Animo per turn, requiring careful planning.
New to the Game?
For newcomers, the updated tutorial in version 1.4 makes it easier than ever to get started. It guides you through the basics, from managing Animo to understanding unit strengths and making strategic plays.
Once you've mastered the basics, you can jump into Skirmishes, the game's casual mode for quick, low-pressure matches. Or, if you're up for a challenge, enter the tournaments where up to 64 players compete in a single-elimination bracket.
