In a recent interview with Decider, Jerome revealed that he hasn't even recorded any lines yet, indicating that the project is far from completion. "No, I wish," Jerome stated when asked about the start of production. "We haven’t started up yet. A lot of things being figured out, but good things."

Given that "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse" was released five years after the first film in 2023, it's no surprise that the third installment isn't expected to hit theaters anytime soon. Industry reports suggest that "Beyond the Spider-Verse" might not be released until 2026 at the earliest, with some speculation pointing towards a 2028 release to maintain the pace set by the previous film.
