Sonic Games Get Pre-Movie Updates

Sega announces exciting mobile game updates to coincide with the release of Sonic the Hedgehog 3! Get ready for new content across several Sonic mobile titles, inspired by the upcoming film.

Sonic Forces receives a major update on December 12th, introducing a brand-new Metro-city Zone. This thrilling addition features three challenging courses playable as Movie Shadow, Movie Sonic, and other familiar characters. Complete these levels before seeing the movie for the ultimate experience!

Next up, Sonic Dream Team (Apple Arcade) gets a December 18th update. The highlight? Shadow the Hedgehog becomes a playable character, boasting new abilities like Chaos Control and Chaos Shift to manipulate time and the environment. Unlock him via Tails’ Challenges. This update also includes new powers (Quick Grind, Perfect Boost) for all characters, exclusive upgrades for Shadow (including Double Chaos Shift), six Shadow-themed statues, new music tracks, and a revamped tutorial.

Lastly, Sonic Dash (App Store & Google Play) launches its update on December 20th, allowing you to collect cards to unlock Movie Shadow and Movie Sonic. Daily challenges offer additional rewards. Sonic Dash+ on Apple Arcade will receive Shadow-themed updates in January.
