Rest and Recuperation in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Sleep is paramount in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, offering a crucial method of restoring health without relying solely on consumables. This guide details where to find a place to rest your weary head.

Securing a Bed

Early in the game, acquiring a bed is vital. Progressing through either the blacksmith (Radovan) or miller (Kreyzl) questlines, as part of the "Wedding Crashers" quest, will grant you access to a bed. Radovan's location in Tachov might be more convenient for your initial journey. Completing the smithing tutorial with Radovan unlocks a bed in the room adjacent to the forge.

Your designated bed in Tachov

This bed will be marked on your world map, and a nearby chest provides convenient storage. Return here whenever you need to heal.

Campsite Alternatives

When immediate access to your bed isn't feasible, numerous campsites scattered throughout the game world offer a temporary respite. While some may be occupied by bandits, requiring a bit of pre-sleep combat, others are unoccupied. Designated campsites appear on your map, and interacting with the bedrolls allows for a rest. Note that the comfort level is lower than a proper bed, but it serves the purpose of health regeneration.

Sleeping in an NPC's bed is a last resort. Getting caught could lead to unwanted attention from the guards unless you can successfully talk your way out of trouble.
