The Last of Us Season 2 Release Date Confirmed

HBO's hit series, The Last of Us, returns for its highly anticipated second season on Sunday, April 13th, at 9 pm ET/PT, streaming simultaneously on Max. This seven-episode season picks up five years after the events of the first season, finding Joel and Ellie settled in Montana with Joel's brother, Tommy. Season two adapts the storyline of The Last of Us Part II, offering a deeper dive into the characters and their evolving relationships. Familiar faces Pedro Pascal as Joel and Bella Ramsey as Ellie will be joined by a stellar cast of newcomers including: Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, Isabela Merced as Dina, Merle Dandridge as Marlene (Young Mazin is not listed in the cast), Ariela Barer as Mel, and Tati Gabrielle as Nora. Interestingly, Gabrielle will also star in Naughty Dog's upcoming game, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.
