Marvel Rivals Season 1: Mastering Recursive Destruction in Midtown

Season 1 of Marvel Rivals introduces exciting new content, including characters, maps, and modes, along with challenges unlocking free rewards like a Thor skin. This guide focuses on triggering Recursive Destruction in the Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown map.

Understanding Recursive Destruction

The "Blood Moon Over the Big Apple" challenge requires triggering Recursive Destruction. This occurs when destroying a Dracula-influenced object, causing it to reappear in its original state. However, not all destructible objects will work.

Utilizing Chrono Vision

To identify eligible objects, use Chrono Vision. This feature highlights destructible items in red. Activate it using the "B" key (keyboard) or the right D-pad button (console).

Completing the Midtown Challenge

This challenge requires playing Quick Match (Midtown). Initially, no red-highlighted objects will be available. Wait for the first checkpoint. Two buildings will then appear, capable of triggering Recursive Destruction.

Strategically destroy these buildings. The reappearance might be missed in the heat of battle, but multiple hits should complete the objective. If unsuccessful, replay the match. After completing this, focus on subsequent challenges involving Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman.
