The "Might and Mastery" event in Pokémon GO introduces the Wushu Pokémon, Kubfu. Many players have eagerly awaited Kubfu and its evolution, Urshifu, since their debut in the Pokémon Sword and Shield DLC. Now's your chance! To catch Kubfu, complete the Special Research tasks found in the "Might and Mastery" section of your Special Research tab.

Completing these tasks will unlock an encounter with Kubfu, plus 891 XP! Remember, this Special Research is only available until Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 9:59 AM local time.

Can You Catch More Than One Kubfu in Pokémon GO?

Want more than one Kubfu? The paid "Fuzzy Fighter" Special Research pass offers another chance for $8. This pass unlocks additional research tasks leading to a second Kubfu encounter. Here's what's included:

• One Incense
• Two Premium Battle Passes
• One Star Piece
• Encounters with Season-themed Pokémon
• A rare encounter with a Dynamax Kubfu

The "Fuzzy Fighter" pass is available until March 10, 2025, at 10 AM local time. Note that the tasks themselves remain available after purchase.
