Pokemon Go\'s upcoming Scattered to the Winds event lets you nab new Shiny Pokemon

Despite the lingering chill of February, Pokémon Go is heating things up with its exciting new event, "Scattered to the Wind"! This event offers a flurry of rewards, research tasks, and boosted encounter rates.

Enjoy double XP for spinning PokéStops and a whopping 5x XP bonus for your first spin each day. Increase your daily gift limit to 40 (or 60 with the Eggs-pedition Access: February ticket). Plus, you'll have a heightened chance to encounter a Shiny Pidgey.

But the excitement doesn't stop there! By pinning postcards from around the globe, you'll significantly increase your chances of encountering Shiny Scatterbug, Shiny Pepa, and Shiny Vivillon. This event also includes new Field Research Task rewards and a paid Timed Research.
