Simultaneously, the much-anticipated Gyarados Plaza is slated to launch at a new site this March. Let's dive into the details of these exciting developments!

The Pokémon Center Hiroshima, which first opened its doors in June 2015 on the 6th floor of Sogo Hiroshima’s Main Building, will be moving to a more accessible location. Starting around April 2025, fans can find it on the second floor of Ekie, located at the north exit of Hiroshima Station. This move promises to bring the magic of Pokémon even closer to fans and tourists alike, enhancing the shopping experience in Hiroshima.

Adding to the excitement, the "Gyarados Plaza by Pokémon Center Hiroshima" will open its doors on March 24, 2025, at Soramoa Plaza’s rooftop on the new Hiroshima Station building called Minamoa. This innovative space is described as "a plaza where people of all ages can spend time with Pokémon in their own way," featuring large play equipment modeled after Gyarados, the symbolic Pokémon of Pokémon Center Hiroshima.

For a temporary period after its launch, visitors will need to make advance reservations to enjoy the playground equipment. More details will be available on the official Minamoa website. The Pokémon Center Hiroshima store itself remains open daily from 10:00 am to 7:30 pm, offering fans plenty of opportunities to visit before and after the move.

Poke-lun TV Nationwide Event in Japan

Before its temporary closure, Pokémon Centers across Japan, including Hiroshima, are gearing up for a nationwide event to celebrate "Poke-lun TV" reaching over 1 million subscribers. Fans can grab an original sticker at any participating store by obtaining a password from the "Poke-lun TV’s" YouTube video posted on December 19, 2024, and presenting it to the store staff.

In addition, Pokémon Center Mega Tokyo, Osaka, and Okinawa will feature Poke-lun TV studio-style photo spots with iconic hosts like Takkun, Tokichan, Ha-chan, Tai-chan, and Riri-chan. The event runs from January 17, 2025, to February 16, 2025. Don't miss this chance to snag a free original sticker or snap a memorable photo with your favorite "Poke-lun TV" host at any participating Pokémon Center in Japan.
