A few thousand players will be able to test new Battlefield features
EA unveils Battlefield Labs, a closed beta testing program for upcoming Battlefield titles. This internal testing initiative offers select players early access to core gameplay mechanics and concepts, some of which may not appear in the final game release. Participants will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).
Initial testing will focus on core combat and the game's destruction system, with Conquest and Breakthrough modes available. Following this, balance testing will commence.
Pre-registration is open for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. A limited number of players (a few thousand) will receive invitations in the coming weeks, with plans for broader regional expansion later.

The developers confirm the game is in a crucial development phase, though no official release date has been announced. Development is a collaborative effort between four studios: DICE, Motive Studios, Criterion Games, and Ripple Effect Studios.
