by Zoey Apr 17,2025

Sony has exciting news for gamers: a PlayStation State of Play stream is scheduled for tomorrow, February 12, at 2pm Pacific / 5pm Eastern / 10pm UK. This eagerly anticipated broadcast will run for over 40 minutes and will be available in both English and Japanese via the official PlayStation YouTube and Twitch channels.

While specific game titles remain under wraps, the PlayStation Blog has teased that the event will showcase "a creative and unique selection of exciting games from studios around the world." Fans are buzzing with anticipation for potential updates on major titles. At the top of many wishlists is an extended look at Sucker Punch’s Ghost of Yotei, along with a much-anticipated release date for Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding 2: On the Beach.

Speculation is rife about other potential reveals. Following a recent leak on the PlayStation Store, there's a strong chance we might see an official release date trailer for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. While it might be too soon for news on Insomniac’s Wolverine or Naughty Dog’s Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, there are other exciting prospects to look forward to.

Phantom: Blade Zero, an exclusive action role-playing game from Chinese studio S-Game, promises thrilling sword combat, and fans are eager to learn its release date. Additionally, Bungie’s Marathon and Haven’s Fairgames, both multiplayer shooters, are drawing significant interest, especially in light of Sony’s recent handling of Concord.

With March marking the 10th anniversary of Bloodborne, could we see a special announcement related to this beloved title? It's certainly a possibility that has fans dreaming.

We're also hopeful for one or two brand-new surprises and game reveals. Amidst ongoing rumors, could this be the day Halo finally makes its way to PlayStation consoles?
