New Paldean Pokemon Added in Upcoming Pokemon GO Event

Niantic has exciting news for Pokemon GO enthusiasts: Shroodle and its evolution, Grafaiai, are set to make their debut in the game during the Fashion Week: Taken Over event. This event kicks off on January 15, offering players a chance to encounter these new additions alongside various bonuses and raid opportunities.

Shroodle, a Poison/Normal-type Pokemon introduced in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, is characterized by its large head and eyes that dominate its small body. At level 28, Shroodle evolves into Grafaiai, a primate-like Pokemon reminiscent of a lemur, known for its distinctive large eyes and three-fingered hands. Both creatures have not only appeared in the Gen 9 games but also made brief appearances in Pokemon Horizons episodes.

During the Fashion Week: Taken Over event, which runs from January 15 at 12 am to January 19 at 8 pm local time, players can encounter Shroodle by hatching 12 km eggs. With 50 Shroodle Candy, players can evolve Shroodle into Grafaiai. The event will also see increased appearances of Team GO Rocket at PokeStops and in balloons, giving players the chance to use a Charged TM to help Shadow Pokemon forget the Charged Attack Frustration. Additionally, taking a snapshot during the event could lead to an encounter with Croagunk sporting a fashionable outfit.

Shadow Raids will feature seven different monsters, including both Nidoran genders, and for the first time, players can use Remote Raid Passes in these battles. New Field Research tasks will reward trainers with Mysterious Components, Charged and Fast TMs. The event will also feature Fashion Week: Taken Over-themed Showcases and Collection Challenges. The Web Store will offer new deals, and the in-game shop will have a 300-coin bundle that includes an Incubator, a Rocket Radar, and a Premium Battle Pass.

The coming days are packed with exciting activities for Pokemon GO players. The Corviknight evolutionary line will debut on January 21, a new Shadow Raid Day is scheduled, and a Classic Community Day on January 25 will give players another chance to catch Ralts.
