Which Nintendo Franchise Deserves a LEGO Set the Most in 2025?

LEGO and Nintendo have already teamed up for some fantastic LEGO Nintendo sets. Last year alone saw the release of the interactive Mario and Yoshi set and the first-ever LEGO Legend of Zelda set. However, many other iconic Nintendo franchises remain untapped.

Currently, the LEGO selection leans heavily towards Mario (including Donkey Kong) and Animal Crossing. For fans of both LEGO and Nintendo, this leaves much to be desired. Therefore, the question arises: which Nintendo franchise deserves the LEGO treatment next?

With the upcoming Switch 2, anticipation for future Nintendo LEGO sets is high, especially given Nintendo's investments in film (the new Mario movie and the eventual live-action Zelda adaptation) and upcoming Switch games. What franchises might we see translated into LEGO in 2025 and beyond? Share your thoughts in the comments!

Personally, a Metroid LEGO line would be fantastic, especially with Metroid Prime 4 on the horizon. It presents a prime opportunity for impressive builds. Additionally, I'd love to see official LEGO Pokémon sets, rather than the existing MEGA sets, although licensing agreements might present a challenge.
