NetEase Announces the EOS of Dead by Daylight Mobile

NetEase's popular mobile horror game, Dead by Daylight Mobile, is officially shutting down. After a four-year run on Android, the game will reach its End of Service (EOS) on March 20th, 2025. This announcement comes as no surprise to many fans. For those unfamiliar, Dead by Daylight Mobile is a 4v1 asymmetrical horror-survival game, a mobile port of Behaviour Interactive's successful PC title. While the mobile version is closing, the PC and console versions will remain operational.

Dead by Daylight Mobile offered players the thrilling experience of playing as either a Killer or a Survivor. Killers hunted Survivors, attempting to sacrifice them to the Entity, while Survivors fought for survival, desperately trying to evade capture.

Dead by Daylight Mobile EOS Timeline:

  • January 16th, 2025: The game will be removed from app stores.
  • March 20th, 2025: The servers will officially shut down.

Players who already have the game installed can continue playing until the March 20th shutdown. NetEase will provide information regarding refunds on January 16th, 2025, adhering to regional laws.

For those wanting to continue their Dead by Daylight experience, the PC and console versions offer a welcoming package for new players. Existing mobile players who switch platforms will receive loyalty rewards based on their in-game spending and progress.

Before the servers go dark, consider downloading Dead by Daylight Mobile from the Google Play Store for a final taste of the action. For more gaming news, check out our article on Tormentis Dungeon RPG, a new dungeon-building game for Android.
