At the end of each Marvel Rivals Season, your Competitive rank drops seven tiers. For example, a Diamond I player starts the next Season at Gold II. If you're in Bronze or Silver, you'll reset to Bronze III, the lowest rank.

When Rank Resets Occur

The rank reset happens at the end of each Season. Season 1, beginning January 10th (at the time of writing), is when the first reset is expected.

Competitive mode unlocks at player level 10. You earn points to advance through tiers; every 100 points earns a tier promotion.

Here are all the Competitive ranks:

Bronze (III-I) Silver (III-I) Gold (III-I) Platinum (III-I) Diamond (III-I) Grandmaster (III-I) Eternity One Above All Even after reaching Grandmaster I, you can continue earning points for Eternity and One Above All. One Above All requires a top 500 leaderboard placement.

How Long Do Seasons Last in Marvel Rivals?

While Season 0 was short, later Seasons are expected to last approximately three months. New Seasons introduce new heroes (like the Fantastic Four) and maps, providing ample time to climb the ranks.
