What are Luma Eggs?

Luma Eggs are collectible items in Luma Island. When incubated, they hatch into adorable Luma creatures, invaluable helpers on your farm and during your explorations. Each egg holds a surprise; the type of Luma hatched is random, adding an element of excitement to the process. Collecting all types of Luma ensures a diverse team of helpful companions.

Locating Luma Eggs

You'll primarily find Luma Eggs in two locations on Luma Island: the mysterious Ruins and behind Shrine offering doors. Each Ruin and Shrine within a specific area contains a single Luma Egg.

Ruins require thorough exploration; the Luma Egg is typically located in one of the final chambers. Shrine doors, however, necessitate finding Tepid Offering Crystals, often hidden in challenging-to-reach spots within each area. Once all offerings are found and the door unlocked, the Luma Egg awaits within a reward chest.

Hatching Luma Eggs

After acquiring your Mysterious Eggs, it’s time to hatch them! This usually triggers a quest, though the timing may vary based on your chosen profession. To hatch the eggs, you'll need a Luma Incubator. Purchase the blueprint (500 coins) from Balthazar’s shop (located to the left of the town entrance). Crafting the incubator requires:

Once crafted, use the Luma Incubator to create Luma Life (using various essences collected across the island) and combine it with a Mysterious Egg to initiate the hatching process. Unhatched Luma will be displayed as "Mysterious Creature," revealing a general outline of the creature. After a short wait, your new Luma friend will emerge! Remember to pet your new Luma to strengthen your bond before it can assist you on the farm.
