Lost Records: Bloom and Rage Lands
Don't Nod, the French studio behind Life is Strange, has launched the initial chapter of their new narrative adventure. Players can currently experience Tape 1, with Tape 2 launching free to all purchasers on April 15th.
Initially unveiled in 2023, the game centers on a close group of friends shattered during the summer of 1995. Twenty-seven years later, the specters of that summer resurface, unleashing unforeseen and terrifying repercussions.
Inspired by It, Yellowjackets, and I Know What You Did Last Summer, the game expertly blends nostalgic elements with a chilling psychological thriller. The developers have structured the game into two parts – Bloom and Rage. As of February 18th, only Bloom, the first half of this captivating story, is accessible.
The second part, "The Tape," will be released April 15th. Initially planned for March, the release was delayed to refine the overall experience.
The review embargo has been lifted, with OpenCritic reporting an average score of 74/100, suggesting a promising start for this enthralling mystery.
