Konami is working hard to get Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater released in 2025
Konami's developers have provided an update on the highly anticipated Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater remake. Producer Noriaki Okamura confirmed in a recent 4Gamer interview that the studio's top priority for 2025 is delivering a refined, high-quality remake that meets fan expectations.
Okamura stated, "We are dedicating significant resources to completing Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater in 2025." He emphasized that the game is currently playable from start to finish, with the remaining development time focused on polishing details and enhancing overall quality.
Previous speculation suggested a 2024 release, but according to studio sources, the launch is now targeted for next year. The remake will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
The game promises to faithfully capture the essence of the original while incorporating updated gameplay mechanics and stunning modern visuals. Beyond graphical enhancements, Okamura hinted at new features designed to elevate the overall gaming experience.
Konami unveiled a captivating trailer for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater in late September. The over two-minute video showcased key moments, including the protagonist, antagonists, a thrilling airdrop sequence, and intense firefights.
