Kingdom Come: Deliverance Stars Bid Farewell in Final Interview
The curtain has fallen on a significant chapter in the history of Kingdom Come: Deliverance. After years of dedication, Tom McKay and Luke Dale, the voices behind Henry and Hans respectively, have concluded their work at Warhorse Studios. Their departure marked a poignant moment, filled with appreciation, fond memories, and a sense of closure.
However, even as they recorded their final lines, the studio was already actively seeking new talent to embody Henry and Hans. The transition, a farewell for one generation of actors and a welcome to the next, was a striking juxtaposition.
McKay, the voice of Henry, eloquently described the strong bonds formed during the project:
“While the term ‘family’ is often used loosely in creative environments, it truly resonated here. The relationships forged during this journey are among the deepest and most enduring of my career.”
This sense of family extended beyond their personal experiences to the game's very core. Henry's tragic loss of his parents is a pivotal element of his narrative, mirroring McKay's own experience of losing his father, which added profound emotional depth to his performance. For him, Kingdom Come: Deliverance transcended a mere project; it became a deeply personal and meaningful endeavor.
