Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Mutt Location

Finding Mutt involves a side quest, but here's a shortcut. He's near a wolf cave southwest of the Nomads' Camp, just east of the river bathing spot. See the screenshot below for his exact location.

The easiest route is fast traveling to the Nomads' Camp, then heading southwest into the forest. This path usually leads directly to the cave. You'll hear Mutt whining as you approach. Follow the sound to find him and a pack of wolves near the cave entrance.

Approaching triggers a cutscene. You'll receive a tutorial on commanding Mutt in battle. You can choose to fight or flee the wolves. Fighting them is a good way to gain experience, as wolves aren't overly challenging in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.

After the wolves are dealt with, Mutt is yours! Hold L1 while facing him to interact, feeding him from your inventory or sending him home.

Finding Mutt During the Invaders Side Quest

You might stumble upon the wolf cave while completing the "Invaders" side quest, particularly if you interact with the Cumans. After drinking with them, Henry follows Vasko uphill for more liquor. The quest objective will lead you directly to the cave, triggering the cutscene with Mutt and the wolves. You'll have to fight or flee while drunk.

It's strongly recommended to rescue Mutt before continuing the "Invaders" quest. Dealing with wolves while drunk and in the dark is significantly harder. Even fleeing is risky due to poor visibility.
