Kingdom Come Deliverance 2: Completing "Hush, My Darling" Quest

This side quest, "Hush, My Darling," in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, begins not in Kuttenberg City, but in the nearby village of Miskowitz, located west of the city. It's time to put those blacksmithing skills to the test!

Speak with Martha

Find Martha in the house attached to the forge in the southeastern part of Miskowitz. Ask if she needs help; she'll mention needing a blacksmith. Claim the quest by replying, "I'm a blacksmith! I'd be glad to help." If you haven't already, you can also speak to the bailiff (standing near Martha) about Matthew, a member of the Dry Devil's group, to potentially gain additional context.

Craft Horseshoes

You may already possess the necessary materials: two Farmer's Horseshoes. If not, gather two pieces of Scrap Metal and head to the forge to craft them. Return the horseshoes to Martha.

Find Victoria

Martha requests you deliver the horseshoes to Victoria, whose house lies slightly south of the forge. Upon entering, you'll discover blood instead of Victoria. Examine the bloodstain when prompted. Inform Martha of your discovery; she'll suggest searching Sigismund's camp.

Sigismund’s Camp

Sigismund's camp is situated south of Opatowitz. (You might encounter Matthew on the path there, if you're still tracking him for the Dry Devil quest.) Speak to the blacksmith in the camp about Victoria. He'll mention a soldier called "Black" who showed interest in her. Find Black in the infirmary tent; he's ill. Black requires medicine before talking. Give him a Digestive Potion (craft one if needed). Wait a couple of hours for the potion to take effect. He'll reveal that Victoria may have gone to the eastern woods.

Locate Victoria at the quest marker on your map. Speak with her; dialogue choices don't significantly impact future events. If you secured a promise from Black to care for Victoria, relaying that information provides her with some comfort.

Completing this conversation concludes "Hush, My Darling." Continue with main quests or other side quests like "In Vino Veritas."
