Suzanne Collins' highly anticipated fifth installment in *The Hunger Games* series, *Sunrise on the Reaping*, is poised to be the biggest book release of 2025. Already a bestseller on Amazon, climbing into the top five even before its official release, the book's popularity is unsurprising given the phenomenal success of the previous novels and their film adaptations. *Sunrise on the Reaping* itself is slated for a movie adaptation in 2026.

What is *Sunrise on the Reaping* About?
The fifth book in the series, *Sunrise on the Reaping* is set approximately 40 years after *The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes* and 24 years before the events of the original *Hunger Games*. The story unfolds during the Second Quarter Quell, famously won by Haymitch Abernathy, Katniss Everdeen's mentor in the original trilogy.
