GIRLS’ FRONTLINE 2: EXILIUM’s Gacha System: A Comprehensive Guide

GIRLS’ FRONTLINE 2: EXILIUM, the eagerly awaited sequel, introduces a revamped gameplay experience, including a refined Gacha system for acquiring characters (T-dolls) and weapons. This guide dissects the Gacha mechanics and banner types.

Understanding the Gacha Mechanics

The Gacha system uses a randomized loot box mechanic. Summons utilize in-game currency, typically categorized as follows:

  • Standard Currency
  • Special Access Permissions
  • Event-Specific Currency (obtained through events)

Summoning probabilities for T-dolls and weapons are:

  • SSR T-dolls/Weapons: 0.3%
  • SR T-dolls/Weapons: 3%

All banners offer a mixed pool of T-dolls and weapons.

Beginner Procurement Banner: A New Player's Advantage

Designed for new players, the Beginner Procurement banner offers a guaranteed SSR T-doll within 50 pulls via a pity system triggered after the 40th pull. If an SSR isn't obtained by then, one is guaranteed within the next ten pulls.

Specific rates and pity details:

  • SSR T-dolls: 0.6%
  • SR T-dolls/Weapons: 6%
  • Pity: Guaranteed SR every 10 pulls, guaranteed SSR every 80 pulls. A second SSR will always be the rate-up character if the featured character isn't obtained on the first SSR (hard pity at 160 pulls). Soft pity begins at the 58th pull. Pity is not transferable to other banners.
