Project Mugen, now titled Ananta, is nearing its full release after generating significant buzz with its initial promotional materials. The game blends elements reminiscent of popular titles like Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, and even GTA, all presented within a captivating anime aesthetic.

Ananta's release in China has been approved, with a projected launch in 2025 across PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile platforms. A December 5th trailer showcased the game as an open-world, urban RPG where players assume the role of an A.C.D. agent in the sun-kissed coastal city of Nova, a location ripe with mystery and adventure.

This ambitious undertaking is a collaborative effort between NetEase Studios, Thunder Fire Studio, and Naked Rain. The developers highlight the game's global appeal, citing its blend of familiar environments with a compelling supernatural twist.

Key features of Ananta include four-player team-based combat, a distinctive art style, and fluid, high-speed movement.
