This exciting addition brings two iconic entries from Nintendo's celebrated F-Zero franchise to the modern console. F-Zero: GP Legend, initially released in 2003, and the previously Japan-exclusive F-Zero Climax (2004), are finally available to a global audience.

The F-Zero series, known for its groundbreaking speed and intense gameplay, has been a cornerstone of Nintendo's racing legacy since its debut in 1990. Its influence on other racing franchises is undeniable, and its legacy of pushing console technology is well-documented. Like its more popular cousin, Mario Kart, F-Zero challenges players to navigate treacherous tracks, battling opponents in high-stakes races. Captain Falcon, the series' iconic protagonist, even makes appearances in the Super Smash Bros. series.

Game designer Takaya Imamura has previously attributed the long hiatus of the F-Zero series (nearly two decades between F-Zero Climax and F-Zero 99) to the overwhelming popularity of Mario Kart. However, with this release, fans can once again experience the unique thrill of classic F-Zero gameplay.
