Freedom Wars Remastered offers diverse loadout customization options. While weapons and Thrones are less frequently changed, Combat Items—consumable resources with varied uses—require strategic management. You'll occasionally receive Combat Items as operation rewards, but the quantity is often insufficient. Initially, you can only equip one Combat Item; this guide addresses both these issues.

How To Equip More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered

To equip multiple Combat Items, you need specific Entitlements. In your cell, interact with the "Window On Liberty" and select "Claim Entitlements." Navigate to the Equipment section, then tab right to find the "One-Item Permit." Subsequent permits, allowing up to four equipped items, are unlocked sequentially.

These permits become readily available; all four can be acquired by CODE level 3. Each permit unlocks only after purchasing the previous one. Equipping a Combat Item uses your entire stack; equipping a Frag Grenade, for example, will use all currently held grenades at the operation's start. Your Accessory can also equip one Combat Item.

After progressing through the initial missions, access The Warren HUB area. Zakka's store, located on the upper level's right side, sells weapons and supplies. Select "Buy Items" to access Munitions (items that directly damage enemies) and Medical Supplies (healing, ailment cures, and ammo refills).

Combat Items are individually priced; bulk purchases can be expensive in Entitlement Points. Donating old resources is advisable if you require many Medkits. While Operations sometimes reward Combat Items, this isn't a reliable farming method due to time investment and potential consumption exceeding gains.
