Fortnite's Latest Update: A Blast from the Past and Festive Fun!

Fortnite's newest update delivers a nostalgic treat for players, bringing back beloved items like the Hunting Rifle and Launch Pad. This follows a recent hotfix for the OG mode, reintroducing the classic Cluster Clinger. Meanwhile, the annual Winterfest event is in full swing, offering event quests, festive items such as Icy Feet and the Blizzard Grenade, and exciting new skins featuring Mariah Carey and others.

December is proving to be a busy month for Epic Games and Fortnite. Alongside Winterfest's snowy landscape, quests, and rewards from the Cozy Cabin, players can enjoy premium skins like Mariah Carey, Santa Dogg, and Santa Shaq. Beyond the holiday cheer, Fortnite continues its string of collaborations, this time with Cyberpunk 2077 and Batman Ninja. The OG mode also receives attention with its own updates.

A recent hotfix for Fortnite, while seemingly minor, is a major win for long-time fans. The OG mode welcomes back the Launch Pad, a Chapter 1, Season 1 favorite. This iconic traversal tool, predating current vehicles and mobility options, provided players with aerial advantages for ambushes or escapes.
