Embarking on the Wanted: Joss Outlaw Quests in Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 2? Brace yourself, because the challenges are far from easy. The Big Dill is just the beginning! This guide focuses on collecting mineral samples using the Plasma Burst Laser – a crucial step in your quest.

Finding the Plasma Burst Laser

The Plasma Burst Laser, a new addition to the Lawless season, excels at breaching Vaults. While it's an Epic item, making it less common, you can find it in locations with Vaults, such as Crime City (which also boasts numerous Go Bags and Chests). Alternatively, two Black Markets sell it for 600 Gold. The Black Market near Magic Mosses is strategically advantageous for the next challenge, as it's closer to Joss' lab.

Collecting Mineral Samples

With your Plasma Burst Laser acquired, locate a destructible stone structure. Note: permanent stone structures won't work. You need to find a stone structure breakable with your pickaxe.

Aim your Plasma Burst Laser at the chosen stone structure and fire. After destroying it, a small piece of rock containing the mineral samples will appear on the ground. Interact with this rock to collect the samples and complete this quest step.

From there, simply follow the in-game marker to Joss' lab, interact with the designated point, and claim your XP reward. Congratulations, you've completed another Wanted: Joss Outlaw Quest!
