The enchanting world of *The Tale of Food*, the RPG adventure management game that brought personified food to life, is sadly coming to an end. Initially launched for a closed beta in China in September 2019 and later distributed by Tencent Games, this unique game is now preparing to shut down. When Is the The Tale of Food Shutdown?

The game, which allowed players to command an army of charming, personified dishes, will officially cease operations on March 20th, 2025, at 10:00 AM (UTC+8). As of February 18th, 2025, in-game purchases have been disabled. New player registrations have also been halted from today, and the game has been delisted from the Google Play Store. However, if you've already downloaded the game, you can continue to play until the servers close on March 20th.

What About the Jewels Collected in the Game?

If you purchased any jewels between January 9th and February 18th, 2025, you're eligible for a refund. You can request this by contacting in-game support or emailing the developers before March 20th. It's worth noting that the Japan server for *The Tale of Food* shut down in April 2023, followed by the China server in June 2024. Now, the global version is the next to go.
