Expelled! sees you framed as a killer in a Girl\'s Boarding School, but was it you?

by Sophia Mar 19,2025

Inkling, the creators of the acclaimed Overboard, unleash their latest interactive fiction masterpiece: Expelled! Step into the shoes of Verity Amersham, a seemingly innocent schoolgirl wrongly accused (or is she?) of attempted murder at the prestigious (and slightly ominous) Miss Mulligatawney's School for Promising Girls in 1922.

Why would anyone send their child to boarding school? Besides the usual pressures, loneliness, and inherent snobbery, there's the added thrill of potential window-related incidents! Okay, maybe that's not *everywhere*, but it's certainly a reality in Expelled!

As Verity, you have one school day to clear your name, employing any means necessary. Characters act independently, creating a thrilling race against time. Will you uncover the true culprit, frame someone else, or unleash your inner teenage Punisher with a trusty hockey stick? The choice, and the consequences, are entirely yours.

An Inkling of Suspense

Recommending Expelled! is easy. Following the success of 80 Days and Overboard, Inkling has once again delivered a captivating experience. While Verity might appear less villainous than previous protagonists, Expelled! allows for multiple approaches: a strictly righteous path, a cunning frame-up, or a full-blown hockey stick rampage. And remember, Verity's innocence might not be as clear-cut as it initially seems…
