EA Play is Losing at Least 2 Games in February 2025
EA Play is losing two titles in February 2025: Madden NFL 23 (February 15th) and F1 22 (February 28th). This removal from the EA Play catalog doesn't signify an immediate shutdown of online functionality for these games, but it's a heads-up for subscribers to enjoy them while they're still accessible.
Additionally, UFC 3's online servers are slated to close on February 17th. The game's availability on EA Play after this date remains unconfirmed, but its core online features will be unavailable regardless.
Games Leaving EA Play:
- Madden NFL 23: February 15th, 2025
- F1 22: February 28th, 2025
While this is disappointing news, EA Play subscribers can still access newer iterations of these franchises: Madden NFL 24, F1 23, and UFC 4. Furthermore, UFC 5 is joining the EA Play lineup on January 14th, 2025. The addition of newer titles helps mitigate the loss of older games from the service.
