The highly anticipated sequel, set against the backdrop of Hawaii, will feature Majima Goro's pirate adventures.

While Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth received critical acclaim, its decision to lock New Game Plus behind the most expensive editions sparked controversy. RGG Studio, however, has learned from this experience.

During a recent Like a Dragon Direct, the studio showcased gameplay, including naval combat and crew management. Crucially, they revealed that Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii's New Game Plus mode will be a free post-launch addition.
