Collecting them leads you to uncover sinister notes, revealing the Butterfly Collector's true nature: a secret group of women involved in the kidnapping of children from wealthy families to gain power and influence. It's up to you to stop them.

How and Where To Find All Butterfly Collector Members in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

To locate these targets, you'll need to follow geographical clues provided in the game. We'll guide you directly to each member's location, making your hunt more efficient.

Shucho

Shucho's carelessness leads you to the Fishermen’s District in the southeastern part of Osaka. You'll find her, dressed in green, frantically searching at an intersection. Take her down with Naoe’s blade or Yasuke’s weapons, then rescue the kidnapped child hiding behind nearby horses.

Mucho

Head northwest from Shucho's location, crossing the bridge to reach the Kojo ruins. Mucho, disguised as a family jochu, is struggling with her target on the road south of the ruins. Use the child's resistance to your advantage, engage Mucho, and defeat her. Escort the child back to her mother before moving on to the next target.

Richo

Richo, a young woman who pretends to be of higher standing, can be found in the bamboo grove at the northern end of Osaka, specifically in Noda Village across the water. She's dressed in pink and checking on a ransom payment. Confront her, take her down, and rescue the child she's holding.

Kacho

Kacho, the leader of the Butterfly Collector, is located just north of the Nishinomaru Garden, west of Osaka Castle. This area is restricted, so approach with caution. Look for a spot with many butterflies flying around. Engage Kacho in conversation, then prepare for a deadly fight. Her demise will leave one final member to confront.

Return to the Gamemaker, who initiated the butterfly collecting quest. As a former victim, she created the game to expose the Butterfly Collector's activities and save others. You now face a choice: punish her for her involvement or allow her to start anew. Choosing the latter lets her adopt a new identity and life.
