Netflix unveiled the opening trailer for its upcoming Devil May Cry anime adaptation shortly after announcing its April 3, 2025 premiere date. Set to Limp Bizkit's iconic "Rollin'," the trailer showcases dynamic scenes featuring a young Dante, Lady, and the enigmatic White Rabbit, brimming with references to the game series.

Showrunner Adi Shankar elaborated on his vision, explaining the series' late 90s/early 2000s setting and its accompanying soundtrack. He highlighted Limp Bizkit's inclusion as perfectly capturing the era's spirit, promising further tracks from that period and a synthwave reimagining of the game's soundtrack by Power Glove. Shankar also hinted at the anime's long-term prospects, stating that future seasons will boast distinct visual styles and soundtracks to reflect the diverse nature of the Devil May Cry games, implicitly confirming a multi-season plan.

Plot details remain under wraps, but the first season, comprising eight episodes, is expected to draw inspiration from the Code 1: Dante manga (based on Devil May Cry 3), following a young Dante as he investigates a child's disappearance, forcing a confrontation with his demonic heritage and the legacy of his father, Sparda.
