Although your initial encounter, don't be fooled into thinking Yetuga will be a walk in the park. After mastering the combat mechanics in *The First Berserker: Khazan*, you'll need to employ them all to emerge victorious.

Yetuga is a formidable and aggressive adversary, particularly when defending its territory at the end of the Mount Heinmach level. This boss can unleash both long and short-range attacks, such as a leaping slam. To survive, you'll need to master your dodges and parries. Yetuga's arsenal includes:

  • A two-hit combo starting with a left-handed downward smash followed by a right-handed uppercut.
  • A four-hit combo with horizontal swipes using either arm.
  • A downward smash with both arms.
  • A leaping single-handed smash.
  • A jumping grab.
  • A charge.

Throughout the fight, you'll learn Yetuga's patterns, allowing you to strike back during its attack intervals. Parrying all attacks except the jumping grab can maximize Stamina damage to the boss. Use Yetuga's aggressive nature to your advantage. For instance, dodging its charge and letting it crash into a wall in *The First Berserker: Khazan* creates a brief window for counterattacks. This is your chance to destroy the ice spikes on its back, weakening its offensive capabilities.

As you progress, parrying all attacks at this stage, except the grab, will conserve your Stamina. Maintain relentless pressure to trigger Yetuga's next phase. Upon its roar and power surge, create some distance. Yetuga will then wield a giant rock for smashing attacks, so time your dodges or parries perfectly. It will also unleash frost breath, spawning ice spikes—either evade or parry this move. Seize opportunities to land Potent Attacks, and when Yetuga tires, execute a Brutal Attack for significant damage, hastening its downfall.

Victory over Yetuga rewards you with 4,800 Lacrima, along with Frozen Mountain gear items and the Necklace of Resolve.
