How to Make the Dawning Neomun-Cake in Destiny 2

This year's Destiny 2 Dawning event brings back the fun of baking treats for NPCs! While many recipes return, some are new. Here's how to craft the Neomun-Cake.

Neomun-Cake Ingredients & Acquisition

To bake a Neomun-Cake, you'll need:

• Vex Milk (from defeating Vex enemies)
• Dark Frosting (from defeating enemies using Stasis or Strand abilities/weapons)
• 15 Dawning Essence (earned through various in-game activities)

Dawning Essence is relatively easy to obtain through standard gameplay, including weekly and daily challenges. For Vex Milk and Dark Frosting, equip a Stasis or Strand weapon (or use the abilities). Nessus is a highly recommended location due to its high concentration of Vex. Lost Sectors on Nessus are efficient, but simply exploring the zone also works. Strikes offer an alternative, though Nessus is generally faster.

Baking the Neomun-Cake

Once you've collected all ingredients, open your inventory and interact with Eva Levante's Holiday Oven 2.4. Select the Neomun-Cake recipe to begin baking.

The Dawning often involves delivering various baked goods to different NPCs. The Neomun-Cake is a key ingredient for quests like the Cookie Delivery Helper, which also requires older recipes such as Lavender Ribbon Cookies.
