"Cyberpunk Game 'Replaced' Delayed to 2024"
In the latest financial report from Thunderful Group, which has already undergone several rounds of layoffs, a significant update on the highly anticipated cyberpunk platformer, Replaced, has come to light. According to the document, fans will have to wait until 2026 to experience the game, marking yet another delay in its release schedule.
The developers at Sad Cat had previously announced that Replaced would be released in 2025, attributing the delay to the "unique challenge" of the game's development. Initially slated for a 2022 launch, the game faced subsequent postponements to 2023 and then to the previous year. The studio remains dedicated to delivering a top-quality project, spurred on by the game's garnered attention and the high expectations from eager players.
Replaced was first unveiled in 2021 during Microsoft's presentation at the now-defunct E3 exhibition. Since then, it has captured the interest of gamers worldwide.
Although Sad Cat has not yet commented on the most recent delay, the studio has been active in keeping the community informed. This summer, they released combat footage and a mini-game, providing fans with a glimpse into what they can expect from the final product.
Stay tuned for more updates on Replaced as we approach its new release window in 2026.
