Early in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Henry and his companions encounter Captain Thomas en route to the castle. Your task: convince Thomas you carry a message for von Bergow.

Upon introduction, you'll select from these dialogue options:

The initial choice affects starting stats and playstyle. However, many quests require more than combat prowess. Choosing "Adviser" boosts Persuasion and Charisma, beneficial for future NPC interactions.

Subsequent dialogue with Captain Thomas requires sticking to your chosen persona. If you selected "Adviser," maintain consistency. This ensures a successful interaction.

Even if you deviate, Hans intervenes, and the story progresses normally.
